Charnwood Stoves have been produced in Britain by A J Wells & Sons Ltd since 1972 when Alfred Wells and two of his sons, started a small engineering business in Niton on the Isle of Wight and is now run by second and third generations of the family. The Charnwood stoves range consists of high quality wood burning stoves, coal burning stoves, multifuel stoves, oil stoves and gas stoves.

Charnwood look for quality above cost, buying British wherever possible. Charnwood manufacture as many stove parts as possible in-house to maintain full production control and provide customers with long-lasting products leading the field technically in both operation and function.

Clean-burn technology is employed throughout the wood burning stoves and multi-fuel stoves that Charnwood produce. This means when burning your choice of fuel the volatile by-products and unburnt gases produced are reignited and burnt again in the fire. This double combustion subsequntly reduces emissions and ash deposits and delivers even more warmth to your room.

In addition to the office based team Charnwood have qualified technical sales managers covering all parts of the UK and Ireland.
