Although compact in design the Charnwood SLX45 inset stove with its excellent multi-fuel grate is able to run a full central heating system up to 9 radiators.
Stove bodies are guaranteed for 10 years (with the exception of boiler models which are guaranteed for 3 years). All non-consumable body parts are guaranteed for 2 years. Guarantees do not include parts deemed to be replaceable in the normal usage of the stove, such as glass, door rope seal and fire brick linings.

The Charnwood SLX45 (Inset) stove is the latest development in multifuel freestanding stoves. This boiler stove combines all the best features for which Charnwood have become renowned and is sleekly styled to look good in modern or traditional settings.
The grate is a true multifuel grate which can switch from coal burning mode to wood or peat burning with one simple movement. This ensures that whatever fuel is used it can be burnt in the most efficient manner, and that ash can be cleared from the grate simply and cleanly.
The airwash system that not only helps to reduce emissions to atmosphere, but also keeps the glass clear, allowing you to enjoy the view of the fire whatever fuel is used.
The SLX45 inset stove has a thermostatically controlled, integral boiler that delivers a heat output sufficient to power 8-9 radiators and ample hot water. Because it is fitted with a water temperature sensitive thermostat, heating controls (such as the Charnwood Solid Fuel Heating Control System) can be fitted, to give heat precisely when it is required.
The Charnwood SLX45 inset stove is finished in a choice of a gloss black vitreous enamel or variety of durable matt stove paint finishes.
The output of the stove is split as follows: Room = 3.5kW Boiler = 9.4kW
NB: Flue pipe is not provided by the manufacturer with most stoves. Exceptions to this are balanced flue gas stoves, which include a standard pipe and termination and flueless gas stoves which do not require flue pipe.
