The Esse 200 stove has been designed and developed around three basic principles: simplicity, precision and efficiency.
Simplicity - The design is very clean lined with minimal decoration and ornament resulting in a pure angular look offset by the graceful curves of the door and extended legs. It is also easy to operate with no external levers and just two simple controls; the primary air regulator and the Afterburn control. The Esse 200 stove is also a doddle to convert from log to coal burning by simply slotting in the optional fire grate and ash pan.
Precision - The steel body construction lends itself to precision engineering of the airways and Afterburner unit, this means that the air flow around the stove can be very accurately controlled and directed. As a result the Esse 200 stove can be run using the Afterburner control only, using pre heated air alone.
Efficiency - Features such as the rear heat shield and Vermiculite inner lining greatly improve efficiency. With the Esse 200 stove you get less wasted heat at the rear of the stove, improved heating capability and convection and a much more efficient burn, thanks to the unique Esse Afterburn system that guarentees a cleaner secondary burn and clearer view of the fire.

NB: Flue pipe is not provided by the manufacturer with most stoves. Exceptions to this are balanced flue gas stoves, which include a standard pipe and termination and flueless gas stoves which do not require flue pipe.
