The Esse 300 is a unique solution to quickly convert an inefficient open fire into an economical multi-fuel inset stove with virtually no disturbance. It can improve the efficiency of an open fire by up to 400% (from 15% to 65% efficient) and is suitable for overnight burning. No flue pipe is required as it is designed to ‘plug in’ to a standard fireplace opening with no messy and expensive alteration. The dimension on the smaller picture above relate to the fireplace opening required. A) To suit openings between 400 & 460mm wide. B) To suit openings between 540 & 560mm high. C) At least 50mm flat fixing area required around fireplace opening. D) The hearth must be at least 400mm deep. Features and specification : * Suitable for continuous burning * Operating range (depending on fuel type and settings) up to 3kW/h * Pre-heated secondary airwash * Afterburn system for outstanding flame and heat control * Cast iron construction * Class1 chimney outlet * Additional room vents are not normally required NB: Flue pipe is not provided by the manufacturer with most stoves. Exceptions to this are balanced flue gas stoves, which include a standard pipe and termination and flueless gas stoves which do not require flue pipe.
