The Firewall Flueless gas fire is a radically new heating
solution for contemporary interiors, combining the latest patented catalytic
technology with innovative ‘off the wall’ design. The result... a 100%
efficient gas fire that can be ‘mounted’ like a work of art on virtually
any wall space. The gas burner produces beautifully proportioned orange
and yellow flames that dance above a bed of glowing embers. The Firewall
is available in a choice of frame colours so you
can customise the fire to suit your homes interior design. You can even
change the frame colour at a later date if the mood takes you.
Flueless flexibility
With its ultra slim, wall mounted profile,
the Firewall offers an incredibly diverse range of siting possibilities,
giving you the freedom to create a stunning centrepiece without the limitations
of a flue or chimney. It also means that you can bring instant warmth
to areas of your home that may not have been possible, such as a dining
room, conservatory or hall. Or why not create a ‘hot spot’ in a large
open plan space. You can even mount the firewall on a combustible wall
surface such as timber or plasterboard partitioning. In these instances
connecting the gas supply pipe can be achieved using the cavity in the
wall, reducing the need for chasing out plaster and making installation
almost as simple as hanging a picture.
Catalytic Technology
The Firewall does not require a flue because it
uses patented catalytic technology to ‘scrub’ the burnt gas emissions
so efficiently that the warm air leaving the stove is cleaner than the
air it takes in. This process also neutralises household odours and other
airborne particles such as dust mites creating a cleaner home environment.
Only the highest quality materials are used in its construction and the
catalyser should last for up to 10 years, in normal use, before requiring
a replacement.
Environmentally friendly
Catalytic gas technology means the Firewall
actually cleans the air it uses. This process also helps to remove odours
in the home, such as those generated by cooking, smoking or family pets
and neutralises airborne particles such as dust mites, creating a cleaner,
healthier home environment.
100% efficiency
With a maximum heat output of 2.4kW the Firewall
is not just for decoration, it is a powerful heating appliance that is
also 100% efficient. Absolutely no energy is wasted and lost up a chimney
like a conventionally flued gas fire. As a result all the heat generated
warms your room. This means lower running costs and optimum efficiency.
With the Firewall set on low it will burn only a very small amount of
gas per hour yet still provide a respectable heat output of 1.1kW.*
Safety
An additional feature of the Firewall is an Oxygen Depletion
Sensor which constantly monitors the oxygen levels in the room. If this should
fall below an acceptable level the gas supply and burner are automatically shut
off.
IMPORTANT: The Firewall should not be installed in a room smaller than 40m3. The room must also have an openable window and built-in ventilation of at least 100cm2.
NB: Flue pipe is not provided by the manufacturer with most stoves. Exceptions to this are flueless gas stoves and electric stoves which do not require flue pipe. The inclusion of flue pipe with balanced flue gas stoves varies and should be confirmed dependant on the model ordered.
