Northmoor (Art Nouveau) Tiled Fireplace Insert

A solid cast iron fireplace insert produced as standard as a fascia only for use with a clay Milner fire back, but with an option to buy a decorative cast iron back. These inserts are brought to life by the choice of 30 different sets of tiles.

There is a choice of fire to suit solid fuel, gas or electric:

The Solid Fuel kit includes a grate, ashpan and tool to remove the ashpan and is essential for burning coal. This fire will require a 9" Class 1 chimney for solid fuel appliances.

The Gas Fire is a coal effect 'tray' fire, which sits inside the arch. The input is below 7kW, therefore a vent is not required in the room. The output is approximately 1.5kW. This fire requires at least 7" Class 1 chimney for gas appliances.

The Electric Fire comes supplied with a fitted plug and has a glowing coal bed effect with real loose coals.

Note: The chamber size dimensions shown are in addition to the relevant rebate size quoted. If buying with a mantel, please check the mantel selected has the appropriate rebate. The chamber sizes given are for cast iron backs. For clay Milner backs please add 2" to the width, 2" to the depth and reduce the height by 2".
These dimensions are designed as a guide only, no allowance has been made for lintels or back filling which ia an essential part of fireplace installation.
Due to the casting process all measurements are approximate and may vary slightly.
Polished Cast Iron products are not recommended for solid fuel fires as some discolouration may occur.
