The Vermont Castings Defiant has a exceptionally large unobstructed window with an airwash system for clear viewing, plus a large capacity swing open ash pan. The Vermont Castings Defiant Stove is the largest in the Vermont Castings woodburning range. It is equipped with a top loading door and has a thermostatic operation, and a catalytic combustion system (one of the cleanest burning systems available).
