The Vermont Castings Intrepid 3 Multi-fuel Stove has a clean modern style with clear flame visibility and outstanding burn times on shut down operation. Although Vermont Castings Intrepid 3 Stove is designed as a multi-fuel stove with top loader, riddling grate system and large ash pan, the cast iron drop in grate inserts allow instant conversion to woodburning. The Vermont Castings Intrepid 3 Multi-fuel Stove has refactory brick linings to ensure longevity of cast iron component life. Exceptions to this are balanced flue gas stoves, which include a standard pipe and termination and flueless gas stoves which do not require flue pipe.
